[ AS NATIONAL NODE ]
Get involved as a National Node
National Nodes coordinate OHDSI-related activity at country level and connect national stakeholders to the European and global network. Nodes operate autonomously while aligning with shared principles of openness, transparency, and collaboration.
A typical pathway
Step 1
Connect
Engage with the European coordination structure and existing nodes to understand expectations,
models, and what it means to operate as a recognised National Node.
Step 2
Organise
Establish a small coordinating group, convene national stakeholders β researchers, data holders,
clinicians β and initiate local OHDSI activities.
Step 3
Lead
Operate as a recognised National Node: maintain regular engagement with European coordination,
host national events, and contribute to shared initiatives.

Guidance on recognition, governance, and letters of intent is available on the
National Nodes page.
Nodes are expected to align with the OHDSI principles but operate with full autonomy
in their national context.
